peanut butter tart

Ingredients :

Empire Pastry Chocolate Tart Shell

315g Smooth Peanut Butter

80g Softened Unsalted Butter

120g Icing Sugar

1Tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch Salt

180g Milk Chocolate

Peanuts to garnish

Method :

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 180°C.

Step 2: Blind Bake Chocolate Tart Shell as per instructions.

Step 3: Beat peanut butter and butter until soft and creamy, add in sugar, vanilla and salt and mix until combined.

Step 4: Spread into cooled tart shell.

Step 5: Melt chocolate in a bowl over barely simmering water, stirring occasionally until glossy. Pour over filling.

Step 6: Chill uncovered, for 5-6 hours until set.

Step 7: Toss peanuts in icing sugar and lightly caramelise in dry pan. Cool and use to garnish tart.
